Blade Runner

Scene from Blade Runner. Now that looks like life in the fast lane.

Tightropes are easy.
5,000 feet up.
Span the chasm.
I won’t even take my shoes off.

But try that on the edge of cutlass
Or rapier, or a razor blade?
I’ll sprint that slicer like a gold medal.
That’s the fast lane.

A prompt from Imaginary Garden With Real Toads gave me this idea. A poem based on a classic move title.

  1. I like this very much, but tightropes scare me to death! Thanks for taking part in this challenge.

  2. I like that movie...slicer like a gold medal is a cool line ~

  3. Thanks. It is a classic flick.
